Transitional Group
Dear Friends,
When an Addict seeks recovery and is rehabilitated, he/she leaves the centre with hopes and dreams, but usually has to return to a home situation that is not conducive to his or her recovery. These situations expose them to ridicule and insults that they are not ready or prepared for.
However, we at Transitional House seek to change that by providing living accommodation in a semi-protective and supportive environment for the clients newly discharged from treatment and rehabilitation centers so as to facilitate their re-integration into the society.

BIG BOOK AWAKENINGS
The Big Book Awakenings book is used all over the world by members of Alcoholics Anonymous,
Cocaine Anonymous, Alanon, CoAnon, Nicotine Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous and more
to work the 12 Steps out of the AA Big Book both one-on-one and in Twelve Step Workshops.
Written to be used in conjunction with, not instead of the "Big Book of Alcoholics anonymous." This book will help guide you through a personal experience with all "Twelve Steps" as they are outlined in the "AA Big Book." You write notes and questions from the "Big Book Awakening" into your own "Big Book" for personal consideration. After you have completed this process yourself your "Big Book" is now a powerful "working with others book" with questions and considerations that will help you work with others both one-on-one and in workshops. They them selves write the same notes into their own "Big Book" to one day do the same.

Freedom From Bondage
Welcome to the Freedom From Bondage Group! This Group is comprised of members of all 12 Step Fellowships who have come to the realization that addiction to 12 Step Fellowships and meetings is as damaging and deadly as was our original addiction to a substance or behaviour. We realize that the 12 Step Fellowship and the 12 Step Program are two (2) very different entities! If you are sick and tired of being a prisoner to your addiction, meetings, a sponsor, the 12 Step sub-culture,... comer join us on the road to freedom from bondage! To a life which acknowledges that we are as normal as anyone else in every respect except where our substance or behaviour of choice is concerned! We are NO different than anyone else in this big world except when and if we partake in our substance or behaviour of choice! Come get the Program and come get FREE!

Native Americans in Recovery
The Red Road to Wellbriety is a journey of hope and healing for Native Americans seeking recovery from addictions. The book draws on the philosophies and practices of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, especially the Twelve Step process, because it has much in common with traditional Native ways. When the 12 Steps are placed in a circle, they come into alignment with the tribal circle teachings. Join us for our group discussions, using The Red Road to Wellbriety in addition to the "Big Book".

POINTS for PEGGIE (P4P)
This Group exists for the sole purpose of lobbying Charlie to give Peggie 500 points that she deserves but never received! Please show your support for giving Peggie her points by joining us. Yes, Charlie is in Washington, D.C. which might serve to explain our need to demonstrate in support of correcting this injustice! LOL

Young People in AA
"We are not a glum lot... We absolutely insist upon enjoying life!"
The Big Book talks about alcoholics coming in young (30 or under), but Young People in AA is also about an energy and a hopefulness. Anyone with less than 75 years of continuous sobriety is welcome.
For everyone wanting to do P.I. for Young People in AA, share information on YPAA events, or share ESH on coming to AA young and growing up sober.

Crystal Clear
"If you think you have a problem with crystal meth, welcome.
You are not alone.
Crystal Meth Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from addiction to crystal meth and all other mind-altering substances.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using. There are no dues or fees for CMA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. CMA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; and neither endorses nor opposes any causes.
Our primary purpose is to live free of active addiction and to carry that message to the addict who still suffers."

Sober Christians
The Sober Christians Group is for members who share a biblical and New Covenant understanding of a Higher Power. We are not interested in "converting",
"proselytising" or "preaching" to our non-christian friends. Our Group simply provides a place where we may come to share our common spiritual beliefs as they relate to our personal recoveries and spiritual growth. This is a non-denominational Group.
