Susan Davis : Today is my birthday. I just turned 57 yrs.old. Egad. I pretty much stayed home & snuggled w/all my kitties (I have 8 indoors & 3 outdoors. And no....I'm not a crazy cat lady. They keep me sober. lol. Beem so long since I've visited here that I had to gety a new password. Pretty bad,huh?

About me: After being in a relationship for 26.5 yrs.(most was in a meth.,pot & alcohol state of mind),sadly,is coming to an end. I've been meth-free for several months now. Yay for me. My partner(64 yrs.),sees no reason to eliminate the pot & alcohol from his life. I'm 56 yrs.old (just turned that in March) & struggle each day to find a purpose myself,in staying clean. The silly rut I got into,once being in animal rescue,has left me w/11 cats to care for. Trying to end the life w/partner & starting a new one has been a major struggle (ongoing). I'm now reaching out in hopes of finding others in my same situation. One day at a time I go.

Hi Peggy...that little gray beauty is a little girl. Her name is Misty & is one of my past rescues. I pulled her out of an electrical pedestal in our park here. I seem to have spent more time over the yrs. rescueing kitties rather than taking care of myself. I'm doing good staying away from the drugs but, I keep slipping on the alcohol. Living where I'm at isn't helping. It's a toxic relationship that has ended but I don't have the money to move. As you can see, I'm not in a very good spot yet in my life but, I'm fighting to get there. Glad to have you as a new friend. ttyl.

yeah you found my wall! there is so much stuff on this site its easy to get lost in it. I live close to the coast in northern calif so we only have 1 or 2 weeks at the most of triple digits. 70s 80s
sober today mom's ok she is a funny duck. I've had 2 dads die, so i know how that is.

Hi there friend! No Cal,huh? I would love it if it stayed in the 70's & 80's here. The mobile park I live in use to have Waterslides adjacent to. They were for over 30 yrs. Now that they're gone & a housing track is in progress, living further up the coast sounds like a good idea. I thought this little town would stay rural forever. haha. Sorry for your loss. I've lost both my parents & it's made me realize how important family can be. ttyl.
