About me
I am a 52 yr old man with an awesome wife, 4 daughters and a really kewl son-in-law. I am a recovering Alcoholic and a recovering Prescription Drug Addict. My drug of choice was prescription pain killers, muscle relaxers and sedatives.I am a former minister and have been an Associate Pastor at two different churches. I was born & raised here in Flint MI but left in 1981 for the oil fields of Texas. Lived in Texas for almost 31 years but now that I am 100% disabled/retired I came back home to be close to my family. My mother was a missionary/minister on a Indian Reservation in Kettle Pointe Ontario. Thus my nic. I love to chat with people but will not debate the Bible. I Love to listen to most forms of christian music but my love is southern gospel. I attend a nondenominational church because I am a believer in God said it, I believe it, and that settles it this is the rule churches need to go by. I attend a christian recovering addicts/alcoholics group at my church.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can. And the wisdom to help me know where to bury the bodies of the ones that piss me off.

Make me a a channel of your peace
Where there is hatred let me bring your love
Where there is injury your pardon Lord
And where there is doubt true faith in you
Make me a channel of your peace
Where there is despair in life let me bring hope
Where there is darkness let me bring light
And Where there is sadness, ever joy
O Master grant that I may never seek so much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To Be Loved as to Love with all my soul
Make me a a channel of your peace
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
In giving to all men that we receive
And in dying that we are born to eternal life

Actually I am coming up on 13 months clean & sober. It has not been easy cause I am in chronic pain most of the time, but with God's help I can stay clean and sober
