About me
I did my first AA meeting at 18, needless to say i was not like you guys I was a drug addict and I was not a drunk like my Dad (oh boy) did I learn, my favorite uncle the drug addict killed himself, there went my status, then my drunk dad killed himself too, terrible disease we have, then I satyed sober and clean for 10 years, what a great life I had, stopped doing meetings too busy making money and having affairs, sponsor told me get honnest go back to AA or you will lose everything, he was right lost my sobriety, two buisnesses,wife, kids and self respect, ended up 148 pounds soaken wet smoking crack and drinking rot gut xxx sherry, but by the grace of God and the 12 steps here i am working in the field of addiction with a sober fiancee of fourteen years AA, got adopted by her sober family Dad 35 yeras in and gained a new son who just recently clebrated a year, got four of my other kids for Xmas and life could not get any better, well if it did i'd have to cut up my health card, anyways ya all have a great sober24, it's comforting to be part of this group.thanks
