About me
Not my original home group that was in Glendale, California where I first became acquainted with AA it was halloween night on 1972. My start and for the next 7 years I did my darndest, my main thing that kept me coming back were the people and working with Hospitals & Institutions - many lessons were learned.
Being a very stubborn person didn't or couldn't take the 2nd half of the first step so consequently it was very hard, did stay sober for 7 years and with all the spiritual enlightments thru out those years it finally hit when I received my 7 year chip.
My belief in God was there but trust was missing and I couldn't find it until out of the blue one night I dashed out of my meeting to buy a six-pac of beer and proceeded - well it happened and that is what I really do remember to this day. Brought back all the blackouts, guilt, trust issues, etc., so next day took my hangover to my meeting and that is when surrender took hold, with letting go and letting God.

ONE DAY AT A TIME and LET GO AND LET GOD are with me daily. Lots of prayer and meditation plus surrendering totally was the only way I could do it.
Now 28 years later I look back in total amazement and awe for the journey has been fantastic. My graditude is with my Higher Power and the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous 100%. Thanks bunches.
