About me: I moved to TN 5 years ago, and the area I'm in really don't have AA meetings as such more of get togethers and talking about anything that has nothing to do with AA so I don't attend. In Homestead I attended one to two meetings aday and did alot of service prisons and corrections treatment centers etc, I had a nick name in Florida they called me 2X4 from the old school of AA. I'm looking for real meetings again where we talk about recovery and not the price of Christmas gifts or your flat tire? or your relationships.. Sorry but I need AA not all the other BS "we" have sponsors for that!
I'm sorry if I sound like a hard ass but AA saved my life and it's our job to pass it on with the steps and fellowship. If people just want to talk we can always email them direct or them us, Tks Bob
