Thanks for accepting my friend request.We have Big Book study meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9pm EST. If you can attend, we'd love to have you join us. Just come on line a few minutes before 9pm and someone will announce which room we will have the meeting in. It is usually posted in the "Text Chat" area. Hope you can make it. ~shawty~

My dear Rama, it is difficult to find words which can express my deepest sympathy or which can comfort you in times of such sorrow. I can only tell you that you have certainly been a beacon of hope to all of us here at Soberfolk and perhaps you can take some comfort in knowing that despite your pain and grief, your light continues to shine through the darkness and touches our hearts around the world. In the loss of your dear brother, please know that in common suffering, we have become brothers too, joined not by blood, but by the bonds of common experience, strength and especially hope. We say in the Fellowship that we are not bad people trying to get good, but rather sick people trying to get well but you Rama are a good and kind man you give of yourself freely to help the sick become well. As the Big Book says Rama, "we shall be with you in the Fellowship of the Spirit" and I will pray Rama that God, as I understand Him, will keep you safe and well if but for the sake of all those of us who need you and benefit from your goodness and kindness my brother.

Had a course in appreciation for my recovery last night, as one of my (apartment) neighbors had a brawl in the hall upstairs. Scared me half to death! I restrained myself from calling the cops then, but we are sitting down today for a "talk" about boundaries. Will just have to wait and see what happens with that.
